This full high-grade titanium construction exhaust is finished with a twin pair of bumper-mounted tailpipes with hand-crafted carbon-fibre outer sleeves and titanium inner sleeves. Special collectors inside both mufflers eliminate streaming noise, and inner cones act as acoustic reflectors to partially direct sound from the tailpipes to the cabin. Sound is linearized according to engine load and rpms. Smooth and refined at cruising speeds, it becomes sportier and more dramatic when driving dynamically. Sound is controlled with two exhaust valves and by a control kit, which monitor driving parameters and precisely control the opening and closing of the valves to create a distinctive and finely tuned sound. Power is increased by 7.1 kW (9.6 hp) at 2,000 rpm, and a torque gain of 33.7 Nm at 2,000 rpm was achieved when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE with a standard stock exhaust. Weight is reduced by 26.8 % (3.7 kg) against over the standard stock exhaust. This product is ECE type approved. The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available, as well as an optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), for owners looking for an enhanced acoustic experience and greater performance from the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter. With the Slip-On please choose one of additional mandatory products: Link Pipe set L-ME/T/10 or Evolution Link Pipe Set E-ME/SS/7. With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) E-ME/T/7 and Akrapovič Sound Kit, ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.

The Link Pipe Set (Titanium) L-ME/T/10 is a mandatory product to the Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-ME/T/4H. If the Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-ME/T/4H is combined with optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titan) E-ME/T/7, the Link Pipe Set (Titanium) L-ME/T/10 is not needed.

This product is constructed from high-grade titanium for the rear part of the link pipe set, combined with high-grade austenitic stainless steel in the front. Designed as a further enhancement for the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, its dual tube design minimizes gas flow resistance, and a special resonator eliminates unwanted drone. When combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, power is increased by 14.3 kW (19.5 hp) at 4,650 rpm, with a torque rise of 29.4 Nm at 4,600 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE with a standard stock exhaust, and weight is reduced by 6.6 % (0.7 kg) against the standard stock set-up. The sound is a comfortable tone at cruising speeds, rising to a sharper and dynamic sound at higher revs, with precision pops and bangs coming from the tailpipes through gear changes during acceleration. Installation is plug and play, with no remapping needed and intended for use on closed-course competition circuits. With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid. The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit enables owners of selected Akrapovič car exhausts to control the sound of the system from the cockpit of their machine. Using Akrapovič technology, drivers can easily switch between the quiet mode and a sportier sound. With the use of a receiver (already included in evolution system) to drive the actuators that either open the valves or setting them in a regulated mode at the end of the exhaust system, drivers can use the Sound Remote Controller or the new smartphone app (for iOS and Android) to regulate the valves. With the use of the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit, the ECE type approval is no longer valid.
