The KW V3 leveling suspensions are ideal for drivers who are not looking for maximum lowering, but are looking for the driving dynamics and driving comfort of a KW coilover suspension in combination with the almost original series ground clearance.

The focus of the KW V3 Leveling suspensions is on the combination of increased driving dynamics and driving comfort in conjunction with minimal lowering or, if desired, raising. The KW V3 Leveling suspensions are the ideal retrofit suspensions for frequent drivers on poorly developed secondary routes or drivers who mainly use their cars in metropolises and urban areas with numerous speed bumps. The progressive suspension springs are clearly designed for increased driving comfort with their spring constant.

Accordingly, the KW V3 Leveling suspensions have an adjustable, comfort-oriented damper basic setting. If required, the KW V3 Leveling suspensions enable a subtle lowering and raising.

Setup – factory pre-configured damping setup with separately adjustable compression and rebound

The KW V3 Leveling suspension is the ideal retrofit option for drivers who place great value on everyday usability, increased ride comfort and a plus in sportiness. The dampers, which can be adjusted separately in compression and rebound, with their "TVR-A" and "TVC-A" technology allow extensive damper adjustment. This makes it easy to influence the steering behavior, directional stability, tire grip and handling properties significantly for safe controllability at the limit and for increased driving comfort.

TVR-A rebound damping: The two-stage patented "TVR-A" technology allows the low volume flows to flow through an adjustable conical low-speed bypass at slow damper speeds and the main rebound valve to open for the large volume flows at higher piston speeds. This creates a significant increase in driving comfort without affecting the high speed in the safety-relevant range. 16 precise clicks are available for individual adjustment, so that you can choose between more comfort or more body control.

TVC-A compression damping: With 12 precise clicks, the adjustable compression valve (“TVC-A” technology) can reduce or increase the cross-section in the low-speed valve in order to achieve more or less compression damping. At the same time, the spring-loaded needle valve opens its maximum valve cross-section together with the spring-loaded main valve at sudden high piston speeds in order to prevent unwanted progressive increases in force in the high-speed range with its blow-off characteristic. This makes it possible to better support the vehicle body and at the same time offer more comfort at high wheel accelerations than with conventional valve technology. The compression damping setting is always supplied in conjunction with a separate rebound setting, as only an independent 2-way damper setting allows real performance optimization.

Subtle lowering and raising, continuously adjustable

The KW V3 Leveling suspensions have spring struts and damper housings that are approximately the same length as the original sports suspensions of the respective car manufacturer. If desired, the KW V3 Leveling suspensions can also be adjusted with a subtle level control via a polyamide spring plate. The trapezoidal thread enables an adjustment range of approx. 20 - 25 millimeters.

As with all KW suspension products our engineers develop vehicle specific parameters and spring specifications which undergo comprehensive testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center. With a KW Height adjustable spring system coilover kit the driving experience is more dynamic and direct.
